Gary’s Bike – Suzuki V-Strom 650X

Gary rides a 2009 Suzuki V-Strom 650X; it’s a bit bigger than he would normally like to ride (he’s still hoping for that GSX-R 750 one day) but somebody has to carry all of our luggage right?!

Gen’s Bike – Suzuki Gladius

Gen’s first bike is a 2009 Suzuki Gladius; not exactly built for touring but it’s an excellent first bike and is just the right size for her to handle. Just imagine how the Gladius will ride through those mountain passes in the Pyrenees (Gary is rather jealous).

99 Adventures

It’s not really about the bikes, it’s all about the adventure and it always will be, but I guess you could make an arguement that for now… without the bikes… there would be no adventure…

Not so sure about the GSXR750, but the WeeStrom650 is an amazing adventure tool. I like a lot of other people got hooked on LWD & LWR. At the time I was still riding a VStar 1000 custom cruiser. Fast forward 3 years & a lot of messing about & I have a WeeStrom650. I really wanted the bigger engine, but on fire trails & gravel roads, the bigger bike was just too much weight & power to control. My wife had many of the same problems attempting to get a bike she could learn on. We ended up getting a DRZ400SM. It was the only 400 we could get that my wife really liked & was happy with the suspension & power. (She is building up to get her own bike)
